I ordered this dress for a wedding, wanting it custom so it fit just right. I paid for Rush shipping so I could get it sooner to ensure it fit properly. Just a few days from the end of the Rush shipping deadline, I still hadn’t received a shipping notice. Upon reaching out, I learned that custom orders take longer and therefore can’t fit within the Rush timeline (would’ve been good to know that before I paid extra). So only pay extra for shipping if you have a standard dress!
Once I got the dress, I was so sad that it didn’t fit at all. The shoulders were too big, leaving a large gap in the back of the dress, the waistline was too low, and the lace on the front of the dress was stitched with a wrinkle to the fabric beneath, causing it to bubble and not lay flat. I compared it to the measurements I took and it was just made incorrectly. I took it to a tailor and because of the lace adjustments it would’ve cost $300 to tailor. I ended up buying a different dress for the wedding, and hopefully I can sell this one to make up for the large price tag and no refunds on custom orders.
